Creative Scene Creative Scene

Creative Scene commissions and produces all kinds of arts and cultural activities and events in and around the West Yorkshire towns of Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield, Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike. All our work is shaped by the people that live here, who get involved as co-commissioners, co-producers and participants.

You’ll find us putting on gigs and shows in pubs and libraries, family-friendly performances in community centres and rugby clubs, film screenings in old mills and spectacular outdoor arts events in town centres, parks and at festivals.

At Brigantia, our creative meeting and making space in the heart of Dewsbury, we host creative groups and activities and bring people together for creativity and learning, collaboration and conversations.
