WhatNext? Yorkshire & Furnace Festival, West Yorkshire Playhouse
(Does Anyone Know) What's Going On? A WhatNext? Yorkshire event
Part of Hit Reset - Furnace at West Yorkshire Playhouse.
What will the Autumn spending review mean for the arts? Who will be the winners and losers in the next NPO round? Do local authorities still have a cultural purpose? How do artists deal with change? What will Brexit bring? Whatever happened to tolerance?
Every day brings news of change. The world is not what it was. Uncertainty is the new normal.
We may not know what will will happen next, but we can't be left behind. Business as usual is not an option and the only way we can thrive is to get on top of the big questions. The trouble is, we can't even agree what the big questions are. So let's hear from some people who are on the front line of change.
Come along to West Yorkshire Playhouse on Friday 30th September, 4pm - 6pm and join in the conversation. Speakers include Adele Poppleton, Head of Active and Creative Communities at Kirklees Council; Pete Massey, Senior Relationship Manager, ACE, and others...
The event is free but there is a booking fee of £1.75 if you book online. You can find full details and book tickets at the website below.
