Venturefest Yorkshire 2016 - Competitions

Venturefest is a one-day event on 16th November at York Racecourse designed to showcase innovation and support budding entrepreneurs with new ideas across all business/industry sectors. (See link below)

Two competitions (application deadline is 16 September) will be running as part of Venturefest to provide opportunities for those at pre-start or start-up stage with an innovative new idea:

PitchFest is an investment competition with a £5,000 cash prize and 12 months of support to realise your business plan. It will also connect you with real investors, interested in your ideas. This competition is open to any business or individual in the Yorkshire region looking for support to develop innovative ideas, or to get investment to grow your ideas.

The Innovation Showcase is an opportunity for new start-ups (or even pre-start-up) to showcase their innovative business idea at a major business event. The Innovation Showcase at Venturefest Yorkshire will have approx. 20 showcase stands, paid for by their sponsor, Hiscox, so your participation is FREE, if you are selected.
