Senior Officer - Programming and Audience Development Wakefield

Are you passionate about events, audience development, programming and promotional activity? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Wakefield Council to join the Tourism & Festivals team as a Senior Officer, Programme and Audience Development.

The Council and its wider partners deliver a successful festivals, events and speciality markets programme which aims to inspire and engage local residents and attract visitors into the district.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the Council’s and partnership festivals, exhibitions and installations are presented as a clear and accessible programme to residents and wider visitors.

The post holder will also be responsible for coordinating with the Council’s Communications team and the Tourism and Visitor Economy team to ensure the effective promotion of the programme, ensuring that marketing activity aligns with the priorities identified in an audience development plan.
