Roots to Inspire aims to highlight the rich diversity of musical traditions in Kirklees through creative collaboration, pairing a number of musicians with community music groups in Kirklees in order to create new music or a new take on traditional music.
Roots to Inspire was delivered by the University of Huddersfield with funding from Kirklees Council via the Leeds City Region LEP’s Business Rates Pool Fund.
