Bold and confident in our approach, we engage, involve and move our audiences. We reach a diverse range of people through passionate storytelling, a mastery of classical dance technique and an absolute commitment to our leading role as an international ambassador for world-class dance.
Whether based on tour, or at Northern Ballet HQ in Leeds, a career with us allows you to become part of an ambitious world-class arts organisation.
Leeds Dance Partnership has a vision for Leeds to become an international centre for dance – a dancing city that will provide leadership in the North for the development of the art form locally, nationally and internationally. A number of organisations and independent artists from across the region will come together to make this vision a reality, including, amongst others, Northern Ballet, Yorkshire Dance, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Balbir Singh Dance Company, Gary Clarke Company, Leeds Beckett University, ProDanceLeeds, DAZL, RJC Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds City College and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Following a recent grant award from the Arts Council Ambition for Excellence fund, supporting the development of the partnership, we are now looking to recruit a Partnership Director who will provide strategic leadership and undertake the day-to-day management and delivery of the Leeds Dance Partnership. The post is offered on an initial fixed-term contract for 9 months but is expected to last for at least 3 years. The post holder will be employed by Northern Ballet and report to the Partnership Board.
Highly experienced in initiating, developing and managing partnerships, you will have a strong track record in advocacy and stakeholder management. With experience of working in the performing arts and knowledge about dance, you will have well established professional relationships and networks.
