Freelance Dance Practitioner/Delivery Organisation, South Bank Dance - North Lincolnshire Council
Description
Dance practitioners are sought to deliver weekly On Target Street Dance sessions in three locations across North Lincolnshire, Friday’s 6-7pm (approximately 48 weeks of the year):
• Outwood Academy Foxhills, Scunthorpe DN15 8LJ
• Methodist Church Hall, Burton upon Stather DN15 9DG
• Epworth Youth Club DN9 1JS
Applications are welcomed from both individual freelancers and organisations, for either single or multiple sessions.
Dance practitioners are required to:
• deliver high quality grass roots street dance sessions with an accessible and inclusive approach
• work with On Target and South Bank Dance to enable participants to have the opportunity to perform at local showcases
• keep records of every session, and return registers on a monthly basis, alongside ensuring all participants have parental consent, and other evaluation is completed as requested
• deliver a safe workshop, where health and safety will be the practitioners responsibility to include carrying out risk assessments and reporting accidents
Delivering is expected to commence Friday 7th October 2016 and the initial contract will run until 23rd December, with the expectation it will be renewed six monthly thereafter.
The fee is expected to be in the region of £32 per one hour session inclusive of expenses. Payment will be made upon invoice received from the practitioner, after the sessions have taken place (monthly invoicing is acceptable). Income tax and national insurance will be the artists’ responsibility.
