The Council is presently conducting a fundamental review of its operations in order to plan for a future with even fewer resources. The current situation is that 2016/17 will be the final year of the Arts in the Neighbourhood Scheme (3 rounds of funding are currently proposed) but commitment to this could change at any time.

If you have an arts project coming up that requires funding, please keep checking the Arts in the Neighbourhood webpage for further updates about the scheme in 2016/17. The scheme offers grants between £150 and £2,000 as a contribution to arts and cultural projects which benefit and involve Kirklees residents.

Please note: if you think you might like to make an application to the Scheme, you must have successfully registered with the Kirklees Grants Access Point four weeks prior to the closing date of the Scheme (if you would like to do this please email funding@kirklees.gov.uk or telephone the Funding Team on 01484 414824)
