The Pro-Action YAMA Photography Competition
A passion for photography often starts at a young age. The YAMA Young Person’s Photography
Competition, supported by Pro-Action Herts & Herts Sports Partnership, for all young people aged 5-
19 living in Hertfordshire, recognises this next generation of talented young people who may have
an interest in or enjoy taking photos, on their phones, tablets or even using traditional cameras!
The competition helps young people grow and flourish into the next stages of photography. Judges
are looking for good composition, creativity and clear photographs.
The 2018 brief: What make you feel good?
The judges want to view the world as seen through the eyes of young people.
In one single image show the judges what makes you feel good. This could be a photograph sharing
your cultural or religious celebration, highlighting your hobbies & activities, a moment in your special
place, a view of something you love, some special art in your world or getting physical & fit in your
natural environment, as part of the Hertfordshire Year of Physical Activity.
All entries will be displayed on our Pro-Action Instagram Page and Website.
Enter for the chance to win first prize of £100 Amazon Vouchers in your age category.
Second prize of £50 Amazon Vouchers!
Prizes contributed by Herts Sports Partnership.
• The closing date for entries for competition is midday on Sunday 3rd June 2018.
