Constructed Textiles Workshop with Alison Willoughby

To celebrate the launch of the Print Room at Plymouth College of Art we have invited Alison Willoughby to deliver a 'Constructed Textile' workshop where you will construct your very own bag. (All Materials will be provided)

There will also be a networking session after the workshop from 17:30 - 19:30 where you will have the opportunity to look at the resources and see the Mimaki Printer in action.

At 33, British established textile designer and author Alison Willoughby is an undoubted star in textile design. For the last 8 years, after graduating from the Royal College of Art in Constructed Textiles Mixed Media, she has made her name in the design world as ‘skirtgirl’, renowned for her highly individual and hand constructed intricate skirts Alison consults to companies, is commissioned, collaborates, sells and exhibits internationally. Clients include, Selfridges, Liberty, The British Council, The Arts Council, Habitat, Replica Projects, The Crafts Council, Urban Outfitters, Club Monaco, Oilily, Tse Cashmere, ZPM, Coco Ribbons-Dubai, Tait and Style Knitwear.
