This exhibition opportunity was awarded to Glen Williams by S2R, as the People's Choice Award prize at the 2017 Huddersfield Art Society Annual Show.
'An exhibition promoting the importance of art to mental well-being and raising the profile of some of the local organisations using art as a way to good mental health.'
This exhibition displays some of the work Glen has created over the past 12 months, reflecting a variety of styles and media. Some of the work comments on mental health and 'the enormous cost it has on today's society', as well as works that were influenced by his youth in Yorkshire and growing up around steelworks and coalmines.
