Centre Director Vacancy

We are looking to recruit a friendly and efficient person to replace the existing Centre Director who has been with the Centre for over 3 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Centre and all its associated activities. Highly organised and self motivated, applicants must have excellent people skills alongside the ability to deliver the strategic vision of the Centre.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the classes, galleries, workshops and Outreach programmes
• Recruitment, retention, management and development of all staff, tutors and volunteers
• Smooth running of the shop
• Maintain/develop local partnerships & relationships including attendance at community & Council events
• Financial matters including annual price reviews, online payment portals and monthly payroll
• Coordination of events & fundraising
• Monthly attendance at trustee meetings
• Co-ordination of health and safety audits and follow up actions

Hours of work: 20-30 per week (c£28k pro rata)
