Join us for this FREE workshop day led by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra!
Join musicians from across Hertfordshire for an introduction to Jazz led by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
Be inspired by leading professional Jazz musicians from NYJO and Hertfordshire Music Service!

Open to vocalists, wind, brass, percussion, keyboard, drum kit, guitar and bass guitar players grade 3-8 aged 11-18.
Members of existing Jazz groups welcome as well as newcomers to Jazz!

Sessions will include an introduction to improvisation as well as large and small group playing.
Whether you’re starting out on your Jazz journey or looking to develop your musical voice further, there will be something for you!
The workshop finishes with a playthrough for family and friends at 3pm.
