Heritage Walk in Pishiobury Park 11am 3 March 2020

Learn more about the history of Pishiobury Park from LP Archaeology, Friends of Pishiobury Park, and Countryside Management Service. Meet in carpark off Harlow Road A1184.
The landscape of the park today reflects the 18th century “enclosed” parkland design, influenced by Capability Brown. The history of the site is much older and the buried Neolithic earthworks are of national heritage significance.
This year a community archaeology project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and East Hertfordshire District Council, is running at the site and there will a chance to learn more about voluntary and training opportunities associated with the project during the walk.
