Leading a Creative Business & Managing Effectively

An engaging and highly practical workshop to help creatives develop the essential skills to manage and lead effectively their companies and teams.

Taught by former senior BBC producer Sue Ahern, participants will learn how to identify the characteristics that make successful leaders of creative businesses, including understanding personality types – one’s own, as well as others - the importance of defining boundaries and establishing a clarity of role.

The session will also provide tools to help delegates manage their staff effectively and ensure they are getting the best out of their teams including: how to hire the right people, and creating a complementary team.

This workshop is part of the Hertfordshire ProConnect programme and is fully-funded by Creative England and the European Regional Development Fund.
