Junglescape 1981
At Cheltenham College of Art I was taught drawing by Paul Thomas. After one of his drawing workshops I ended up with a black and white charcoal junglescape. I then painted it in oils on canvas 90" x 43". It was my first real painting. I still enjoy working on a large scale. In 1984 it was exhibited in the 'Springboard' exhibition at the Phoenix Gallery in Exeter. It then lived in my attic until Sherrie bought it a few years ago.
