The Art of Glass.

Signs by Umberto were delighted to be featured in The Yorkshire Post Magazine, the first issue of 2019. The date of the feature was the 5th of January 2019.

The interview took place from the studio with Chris Bond of The Yorkshire Post and features the reverse glass sign making as well as the story of my introduction to this craft and art form.

"Robert Walker first became interested in sign writing as a teenager when he did work experience with a local sign maker. Now, more than 25 years later, the Huddersfield-based designer specialises in reverse glass gilding.

He talks about his passion for the craft".
