A grade II Heritage Garden in the Heart of Bushey, Home to over 40 heritage Rose varieties and 4000 plant species, the Garden has three different area's .
Designed by Thomas Mawson for Portriat artist Hubert von Herkomer in 1912, the Garden is divided into three sections consisting of the Sunken Garden (a sunken paved area with a fountain and rose beds), the Lawn (a lawn area surrounded by mixed borders), and the Rose Walk (a pathway lined with mixed borders and rose pillars leading from Herkomer Road). The facilities currently provided include a pergola, summer house, cloisters and disabled access toilets.
The Garden hosts music concerts, free Kids activity days, Yoga and Meditation classes throughout the spring and summer.
This is the perfect place for a tranquil walk or picnic when the suns out with flora to inspire all year round for anyone interested in Horticulture.
