Photography has been a passion since I first learnt how to process & print my own pictures aged 7.
In 1984 it became my full time profession & nearly 30 years later I'm still passionate about it.

Creative photography is about listening, location & lighting.
Listening to the client means the images fit the brief & the audience for who they are intended. Choosing the location & how it is used in the image.
The lighting is the crucial to any image. On location choosing the time of day to shoot, modifying or supplementing the the light & in the studio selecting the qualities of the light that suit the image.

My work has ranged from simple one off portraits to ongoing projects with magazines, exhibition companies, large corporates & governments with the relationship lasting many years & producing thousands of creative images. Over the years I've shot politicians, pornstars, princesses & popstars, my work takes me all over the UK & sometimes across,over or under an ocean.

I run training for proffessional & amateur photographers as well as non photographers needing to develop skills to photograph aspects of their business.

I'm also a work of art, having had my hour on the 4th Plinth in Trafalger Square as part of Anthony Gormley's "One & Other"
