What is it about?

This online workshop will explore how to create excellent emails. Amy is a self-confessed email marketing geek and will share the knowledge she has gained researching, creating and trialling the perfect email.

During the workshop you will have the opportunity to think about how to use emails strategically, top tips for excellent emails and how to analyse the effectiveness of your email campaigns.

What will I gain?

At the end of this workshop you will:

• Understand how to use emails strategically as part of your marketing mix
• Have great ideas for developing your email campaigns
• Be clear about how best to assess their effectiveness

Who is it for?

This workshop is for anybody responsible for planning and delivering email campaigns.

Trainer: Amy Rushby, Digital Marketing Officer, Royal Shakespeare Company

As Digital Marketing Officer for the Royal Shakespeare Company Amy oversees the organisation’s email marketing. This has included managing the implementation of email marketing software as well as email design and copywriting, campaign evaluation and monitoring email marketing trends and best practice.

With a passion for digital marketing Amy has previously presented for the Arts Marketing Association, Chartered Institute of Marketing and at the Tessitura UK conference as well as co-teaching the Audience Development and Digital Marketing module at The Centre of Cultural Policy, University of Warwick. Amy also runs the blog Cultural Tweeters, a blog about the arts and social media.
