Salary: £17,122 - £19,065

Contract Type: Full Time, 52 weeks per year, maternity cover contract for up to 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Marketing department here at South Devon College covering maternity leave. The post holder will be responsible for all College Open Events and other events as directed, including events for South Devon College, University Centre, Newton Abbot Campus, South West Energy Centre and NOSS Marine Academy. This will include managing, developing and promoting the events calendar including advertising, budgeting, planning and liaising with internal and external suppliers. The role will also be required to provide administrative support within the marketing department and undertake design work to support the promotion and marketing of events.

The successful candidate will hold Level 2 qualifications in English and maths and hold a relevant marketing qualification. Candidates should also have work experience organising successful internal and external events and be competent with computer packages, including design software.
