This piece is rolled pewter and doily with found pottery. It is designed to grip onto the wrist via two pressure points looks slightly uncomfortable, it symbolises the need to decorate one's self elaborately to keep within a social etiquette that has exists throughout British history, the stiff upper lip and a strong endurance approach.
