Joint choir concert in Hemel Hempstead

Aeolian Singers and Hemel Hempstead Singers join forces to present an exciting programme of classical music : Vaughan Williams' Dona Nocis Pacem, a moving plea for peace with text by Walt Whitman, the bigble and a political speech, and the rarely performed requiem Vesperae de Morti by Franscesco Vallotti, a beautiful two choir piece in 8 parts.

Soloist in Dona Nobis Pacem is the local soprano Katherine Boyce. Accompanist Matthew Woodward

The choirs will be conducted by Stepehen Jones, musical director of Aeolian Singers, and Simon Pusey, musical director of Hemel Hempstead Singers.
