Gemma Rosefield in Recital

These internationally-acclaimed musicians mark their first appearance at HFoM with a world première by Matthew Taylor. It is programmed alongside recent works by Stephen Hough and James Francis Brown. The concert ends with Beethoven’s glorious Sonata no. 4 in C major. The venue is the Quaker Friends Meeting House (1670) – the oldest in the world that has preserved its original purpose. It’s a wonderfully atmospheric building with a warm acoustic in which to contemplate the music.
